The penultimate entry in the Twilight saga hits home video in March
It’s not long til The Twilight Saga draws to something of a close with Breaking Dawn Part 2 hitting cinemas in November. But before that, it’s time to get all caught up with the story as Part 1 hits home video in March.
Honestly, I’ve never truly hated the Twilight series beyond the vapid first entry and the Bill Condon directed Breaking Dawn Part 1 is a fine slice of teen friendly entertainment, which actually manages to inject some humour into the exceedingly serious lives of Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and the rest of the gang.
It doesn’t hurt that the novel Breaking Dawn is easily the best in the series and I’m genuinely curious how the last tale will be told on the big screen. You can read my full review over here.
In case you missed it in cinemas, or just can’t wait to see it again, Breaking Dawn Part 1 is coming to DVD and blu-ray from the 12th of March.
The disks contain a bunch of extras, including a commentary with director Condon, and a bunch of featurettes on the DVD, including the option to jump straight to your favourite Jacob or Edward scene! The blu-ray scores a couple more behind the scenes pieces and extras which delve into the backstories of the characters.
So grab The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 from the 12th of March. You may as well get caught up before the saga ends!
