Catherine Zeta Jones to join cast.
Even though it didn't do quite as well as many would have hoped, 2010's Red was nevertheless an extremely enjoyable action comedy romp which saw great turns from big names including Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovic. Despite being met with a somewhat tepid response from both critics and the public, it has been confirmed that the movie will be getting a sequel next year.
Original director Robert Schwentke won't be taking the helm this time, instead it'll be in the hands of Dean Parisot, while new faces Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-hun Lee will be joning the cast alongside Mary-Louise Parker who was so likeable in the original.
No release date has yet been confirmed, nor have any plot details, but it's safe to say that we're looking forward to this one!
