E.T. getting Blu-Ray release in October

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial will celebrates its 30th Anniversary with its first-ever release on Blu-ray in October. The Extra-Terrestrial Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack includes the 1982 theatrical movie, a new interview with director Steven Spielberg, and "The E.T. Journals" featuring footage from the set of the film. There are a variety of bonus features ranging from deleted scenes, to a reunion of cast members to talk about the impact of the film and even a journey through the stages of E.T., from the initial idea to the filming.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial was released in 1982 with great success, taking over the box office for 16 weekends. It was nominated for nine Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Writing and Best Screenplay. It won in the categories of Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Effects Editing, Best Sound and Best Music.
No exact release date has been set, but we will update you when we hear more about everyone’s favourite Extra-Terrestrial.
