Plenty of sex and violence to kickstart your day.
There are only two things that you need to know about the trailer for The Man with the Iron Fists: It is a red band one, and it’s from the mind of hip hop MC, RZA, who has teamed up with Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino. Not one for the workplace then. The Man with the Iron Fists is a tale of sex and violence, and this is nicely summed up in the trailer. The plot features a blacksmith who must defend himself and his fellow villagers. Essentially, it’s just a good excuse to spill a lot of blood on screen. The trailer doesn’t explain much of the story, but it certainly gives viewers an idea of the tone and style being used. Then again, the tagline of, “They put the F.U. in Kung Fu” should also do the job.RZA will also star in the film alongside Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu, Cung Le, Dave Bautista, and Pam Grier. No release date has been set, but it is expected to be out sometime this year. We could make quips about the movie pulling no punches, but for now we’ll let the trailer speak for itself.
