Some sad news has emerged from England today with the revelation that Bob Hoskins is retiring from acting following his recent diagnosis with Parkinson's Disease.
Famous for roles in classics like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hook and Mona Lisa, the 69-year-old English actor had been working right up until a few months ago when he portrayed a dwarf alongside Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman. A statement released by his agent revealed Hoskins will now be spending more time with his family and away from the camera. "He wishes to thank all the great and brilliant people he has worked with over the years, and all of his fans who have supported him during a wonderful career," said the statement. "Bob is now looking forward to his retirement with his family, and would greatly appreciate that his privacy be respected at this time." We here at Click wish Bob all the best in the months and years ahead.
