Jack and Daniel on The Hobbit

23 Aug 2012
New sequels, frame rate issues and how the heck they get three movies out of a teeny book in today's episode
With all the recent behind the scenes changes for The Hobbit, we thought it was high time that Jack and Daniel took a look at Peter Jackson’s upcoming adaptation. Originally outed as two films covering JRR Tolkein’s slender 1937 tome, Jackson revealed that he feels he has enough extra footage to cover a full trilogy of films on the subject of some pilferous little people. We’re sceptical and you can hear our thoughts on that, and some new 48 frames per second nonsense, in the clip below.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is due for release on the 14th of December with sequel There and Back Again landing on the 13th of December 2013. The as yet untitled third film will be soaking up your dollars in summer 2014. More as we get it.
