William Miller always looked younger then his classmates. When hired by Rolling stone magazine to write a piece about Stillwater, touring American rock band, he tries to grow up fast. However, getting an interview with famous guitarist Russell Hammond proves harder then he thought. Fighting against deadlines, partying and "Band-aids", including Penny Lane. Set in the late 60's, this coming of age film shows the struggles and highlights on the road. The main thing to remember is: Don't take drugs

Highly recommended movie for anyone who is a fan of rock featuring music from Led Zeppelin, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bowie, and Rod Steward and several other big name acts of the period.
Not only does it feature a very high quality soundtrack but also some very good performances from Frances McDormand, Kate Hudson and Philip Hoffman making this entertaining to the music fan and anyone fond of a decent story ok so Patrick Fugit wasnt that great but his acting wasnt too bad just a big cardboardy.

I liked this movie it has a little everything in it and would appeal to most movie fans. Frances McDormand is great in it and plays her part perfectly.
