Comedy at its best
Damien from Dublin, 31 May 2011
Classic comedy film that has some laugh out loud moments but mostly just a feel good factor. The plot is fantastic and centres around two old ladies who believe they are making lonely men happy by poisoning them. The laughs get better and better as confirmed anti marriage writer Cary Grant, now a newly wed comes home as does his long lost brother. As the dead bodies stack up the cops get involved but not as you would think.

Cary Grant on top form, in this funny thriller romp where an mortimer brewster author of books on not gettiing married gets married, find's out his two spinster aunts are poisoning guests and a psychopath brother who is trying to kill him and another brother who thinks he is teddy rooseveldt. The acting is great it is good fun and wonderfully directed by Frank Capra

Couldn't bring myself to watch this, until the very end. Thought Cary Grant was over acting - it drove me nuts!

Great farce; a very good example of the comedy of the day. Enjoyed viewing it again.

Excellent. Cary Grant gives one of his best performances.
