2.5 out of 10 Interesting idea
Stuart from Dublin, 30 Jul 2009
Interesting idea, nice to watch vin diesel in a recent film, i thought cud be v good, but is a pretty un spectacular film. it has action and some fighting but thers something a bit uninspired about the whole feel of the film or in quite a few ofthe scnes, but it not that bad at all. An interesting story but fails to live up to the hype really, for me anyway.

2 out of 10 Been done before, and done better than this
John from Donegal, 10 Feb 2009
A mercinary is hired to take a gifted orphan from Russia to 'safety' in New York. Pretty formulaic 'Dark' Sci-fi that looks like its had a load of money thrown at it, but still fails to be either interesting or exciting. I didn't really care for any of the characters, or what was happening to them. Was bored before it was halfway through.

0.5 out of 10 what a waste of time
Michael from Meath, 28 Sep 2009
I had high hopes for this movie as i usually enjoy vin diesel movies but this one was dreadful, no structure to the story no characters you could warm to and one of the worst endings for a movie ever i think the director gave up 20 minutes before the movie ended end let his 10 year old son finish the rest!!!!

2.5 out of 10 Babylon A.D.
Paul from Laois, 19 May 2009
Not too bad. The plot is a bit ridiculous as are some of the characters - like the Russian gangster. Its very watchable though. I think Vin Diesel is pretty well suited to the role.... you know the cynical world weary mercenary type (sounds like bruce willis eh?).
