Not as good as the usual period dramas (and I love those), even with the cast that it has. Don't like Uma Thurman's accent in this, and overall it dragged on a bit...or a lot... Wouldn't bother watching it again even if it was on tv...

Pity about this strong cast good performances (Pattinson a bit of a one trick pony) but somehow a weak and disconnected script let it down worth watching just about!
