Good show by Cooper.

More a character study that an espionage thriller, 'Breach' delves into Hanson's character and reveals some clues as to why he did what he did without there being any great reveal. He was a good family man devoted to his God and they paint him as quite a patriot. He did seem to be at the FBI's hierarchy that kept him on the sidelines while lesser minds got the better jobs but we cannot be sure what caused him to sell state secrets to the Soviets. All quite interesting really.

It is a real cracking story my only criticism is that it would have been nice to found the why if possible, although this was clearly geared to the chase and despite knowing what is going to happen you cant fail to want them all to be proved wrong as the main subject in the story comes across as such a normal joe making it even more disturbing I suppose.
Interesting spy movie

Enjoyed this look inside the FBI as Ryan Phillipe is assigned to shadow Chris Cooper who is suspected of being a Soviet mole. Cooper seems to have made a living of the dour, sinister character (Bourne, American Beauty) and this role suits him down to the ground.

This was given much hype as an intelligent "set a spy to catch a spy" film, and it was good, but didn't live up to the hype. A watchable, interesting film, but it didn't break any boundaries.
Good film, interesting

I enjoyed this film and though Cooper was excellent. It is not a really exciting thriller but it was just the right length to hold my attention throughout. Worth a look.
