Cadillac records is set in 1950's Chicago and tells the story of how Leonard Chess (Phil Chess was actually Leonard's partner) started the equivalent of Atlantic Studios for blues & R&B music and launched several stars including Etta James, Chuck Berry, and Muddy Waters. The film is by no means accurate with several key facts changed. However, I really enjoyed the film and thought Beyonce give a great performance as Etta.
