Saw this years ago as a young teen, but having recently read the book had to see the film again. Loved it (but book is so much better) Very powerful scenes and moving moments. Whoopi is fantastic as Celie and Danny Glover plays the "bully husband" brilliant. Make sure to have the tissue ready with this one.
