4.5 out of 10 Complicatedly
Anthony from Dublin, 12 Jul 2007
This is a great old fashioned 'Who Dunnit' romp. So long as you fully expect that the person who you expect did it is not going to meet your expectations and do it, and the person who you suspect is not expected to have done it did do it, and that that this is a totally unreasonable expectation , then you will really enjoy this UK set Murder mystery. Popcorn, suggary drink, duvet and yer away!

2 out of 10 Grat book - woeful flick
Brock from Limerick, 06 May 2011
Loved the book, became a big Ian Banks fan on the back of this and the excellent Was Factory - but this is awful! Acting is mediocre - at best - and all the chilling suspense from the book is lost in this fairly dull pic

1.5 out of 10 Jaysus!
Maggie from Mayo, 20 Sep 2008
Already wrote a dummy review to get this off my "write a review" page and now it's come back. We got a damaged DVD so could only watch 15 mins and didn't think it was worth re-ordering.

What's it about....
Based on the Iain Banks novel, this gripping thriller is set in Scotland, with a strong cast including the brilliant Johnny Lee Miller. Cameron Colley is a journalist who writes articles that takes the underdog's viewpoint. His motives are shared by a serial killer who commits murder on behalf of the underdog. The two stories then begin to fuse together...
