An old-fashioned cop yarn that tells a good story using a solid script. Stallone stars and does a good job as the plodding country sheriff who sees more than he lets on. And as for the supporting cast, well it's just packed with big names and recognisable faces. There's a few from The Sopranos, a couple from The West Wing and the T-1000 is even here! Recommended for any fan of the genre.

The mark of any good film is if it makes you care about the characters. Copland does this, a modern classic. Stallone is brilliant.
