This was a wonderful film with a great British cast and a completely new view of Darwin as a family man. Based on a book written by one of his descendents and much other personal research it gives a complete look at Darwin as a human and emotional being in context, rather than just the usual scientific giant we get taught at school. Utterly compelling and engaging.

Get your tissue out as this is very sad movie brillent proformances from all the cast. Truly touching movie about the love darwin has for his family and the struggle with his theory and how it and the death of a daughter nearly destroys him and threathens to tear his family apart.
