Might need a tissue!

My wife and I rented this film together and to be honest we weren't expecting too much. That being said after watching it I have to say it wasn't all bad. Some of the acting was a bit stiff but the story was moving although the ending felt a bit rushed. Definately worth a night in with a bag of popcorn and a tissue.
Not a bad film

I read the book before I watched the film so I knew the storyline. The ending to it was different to that of the book and I felt it was changed to accomodate a happily ever after ending which dissapointed me. Not the best of the Nicholas Sparks films but not the worst either.
Enjoyable

I liked this one, it wasn't just a love story btn boy and girl but it was the relationship/love between son and father that i thought was the main theme of the movie. Interesting twists and turns and plenty of teary bits, defo worth a watch if a fan of the love stories,
Good movie

A mixture of romance and war movie. Strong acting by Channing Tatum. Good movie, but I found the ending very rushed and a bit disappointing after a not bad story line.
Dear John = wow

One of the saddest movies ever. But one of the top movies to choose from if wanting a romantic one !
