1 out of 10 Death of laughter
miriam from Monaghan, 01 Mar 2011
Thought this was going to be a good enough laugh, but this was pretty disappointing.....the best joke in the film (the jackie chan reference) i had already heard a good few times through the trailer. that joke was made at the beginning of the film, so i spent the remainderof the film waiting for the next laugh, which sadly did not happen. the film was like a worst version of a carry on film. it was pantomine til the end. a real disappointment.

1.5 out of 10 Just my opinion
Les from Dublin, 31 Jan 2011
I thought this movie was a bit disappointing. there were some characters in it that were a bit pointless and they had no chemistry. there was one or two laughs but they were provided by a beautiful james marsden. if you really, really have to see it, be sure there is nothing more worthwhile to get first. D

1.5 out of 10 What Awful Rubbish
Seamus from Monaghan, 19 May 2011
I gave this 3 stars because I sat through it until the end. There is one funny character and the film takes off when he's involved otherwise it's just a lot of very dated jokes. If this was made in England in the 50's in black and white you'd find it cute and inoffensive but in today's world it's dreadful.

3 out of 10 Slapstick
Conor from Louth, 18 Feb 2011
An american remake of a recent british comedy, all set around calamitous events on the day of a funeral. Despite the relatively strong cast I couldn't help but feel they hadn't done the original any justice. A few laughs here and there but only a very average outing.

What's it about....
A funeral ceremony turns into a debacle of exposed family secrets and misplaced bodies.
