there wasnt anything really unexpected about this movie, however thats not always a bad thing! owen wilson plays the same lovable but misunderstood role hes so good at. the three boys are all brilliant in it and provide us with some big laughs along the way, all in all i'd say definately worth watching if you are in the mood for some high school (juvenile) laughs...i was, and enjoyed my 110 mins!

This is a great comedy. There is a lot of laughs to be had during this film. Owen Wilson Plays a bodyguard for 3 teenagers who need protection from a "High School Bully". It's a must see for anybody who likes a laugh.

I expected very little from this and watch actually surprised, a few cheap laughs, but a country mile from the likes of Superbad. Poor Owen Wilson just seems to get the same roles in every film, either that he really can't act any differently...

2.5 out of 10 Drillbit Taylor

I expected better from the team behind knocked up. This is to Knocked Up what Semi-Pro is to Anchorman, what the Waterboy is to Happy Gilmore, what School for Scoundrels is to Napoleon Dynamite...you see where I'm going with this!!!

Drillbit Taylor is humerous and good fun in places. Three young teenagers are looking for protection in school against a bad bully and through a series of interviews .. up pops Drillbit. Good fun but slow moving in places.

Before they become completely engulfed in Filkins' reign of terror, they seek out some protection by placing an ad in the Soldier of Fortune magazine. Their best response - and the cheapest - comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), a down-on-his...
