Family classic with messiah overtones, recently re-validated by my own kids, who just lapped this one up. Now they know where the Dreamworks logo came from! Best bit? Frog dissection scene.
Note to Spielberg & Lucas: Leave the frigging things alone once they are released! These are the versions we love, nothing to do with you any more! (rant over)

There is something magical about ET. Before ET I was very scared of Aliens largely due to my older brother bringing me to The Return of the Jedi. After ET I lost my fear for Aliens and gained a new fear for men in suits. An oldie but a goodie 10/10
ET - Best Spielberg film ever.

I loved this film as a kid, and even now when i watch it with my 3 yr old son, he loves it just as much as I did - and i still love it just the same.
Highly recommended for kids of all ages (even 30 sumthings like me!!!)
