Interesting...

I wasn't fussed about this movie, and like so many that you approach in that frame of mind - I loved it. It will not change the world, but you come away in a pleasant, reflective frame of mind and I was quite taken with it. The scenery and photography is excellent and it really demonstrates beautifully how someone examines who they are from inner reflection, and through the eyes of others. a feel good film with a small spiritual edge.

I loved this movie, would watch it again & as it is based on a true story, I think it's interesting from that aspect too.
Believable characters, beautiful scenery, yummy content in Italy, Soul-Searching content in India & Peaceful Perfection in Bali.
I've rated this movie 8 because of the feel good factor, as well as the fact that I would actually watch this again, which is very rare for me! Wonderful escapism . . .
Very mainstream....

The idea is good, the stuff is good but very hollywood. The thought of a woman finding herself is not realistic if in every country is a man, she is loved and in a kind of relationship... very shallow with stuff which could be very interesting..... pity..
Different cast required?

Having read the first 2-thirds of the book, and I learned a lot about the reasoning behind meditation and yoga etc, I gave up reading the last part and got the movie instead! Pity they didn't cast an unknown in the lead, would have seemed more real.
