Far North

Apart from the stunning photography in this film, it is a very moving film. It leaves messages open for the viewer to interpret what they 'think' they are watching. Depicting out of the ordinary relationships, it's ending is both emotionally brutal but, again, very open to interpretation. A very intelligent and beautiful film
a real mix of genres

This film is like a blend of documentary, 70's snowbound drama and a slow building thriller. I enjoyed it but its a difficult one to place and remains a little unsettling. Its a good story but not a rollercoaster!
Disturbing Wasteland

This was extremely slow at the beginning, although I can see why. Ultimately it was just too horrific for me to enjoy at all despite the amazing backdrop of the artic wasteland. Not for the squeamish.
