A movie not to miss. Cathy Bates at her best in a very moving and funny film. In a word, terrific!!!

What's it about....

Evelyn Couch (Kathy Bates), an overweight, middle aged woman, is in a rut. Her husband Ed ignores her, and even his bedridden aunt throws blunt objects at her! But a chance encounter with a spry octogenarian Ninny Threadgoode (Jessica Tandy) leads to an unexpected friendship.
