3 out of 10 Entertaining
Anita from Donegal, 06 Jul 2012
Maybe I had an advantage as I haven't seen the original and wasn't expecting too much but this is good fun, the tense moments are few and far between but it is quite amusing. It's silly but enjoyable and has a decent pace to it. There are a lot more worse films than this out there.

1.5 out of 10 Awful
Barbara from Cork, 19 May 2012
If you've seen the original, this is an inexplicable disappointment. Not clever, not funny, not scary -and Colin Farrell is awful - he's supposed to be charming and sexy but comes across as just bad acting. Takes itself way too seriously.

What's it about....
Meet the sexy new neighbour, Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell). He's dangerously charming - and utterly lethal. That's because he just happens to be a vampire, and out for blood...buckets of it. After high school senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) makes the connection between Jerry's suspicious activity and a steadily rising body count, he vows to end the reign of terror next door. But he can't do it alone. His only hope is Las Vegas magician/ vampire-slayer Peter Vincent...
