DREADFUL MISFIRE
Brian from Kerry, 13 Sep 2011
Take one blockbuster, start with a promising opening, give the thing an all-star cast, add a dash of indie wackiness. Result? A winner, right? Wrong! Way wrong. This is the worst clunker I've seen in quite some time. The script had ambitions, but director Wright ('Atonement' -- a good job, and the Saoirse Ronan connection) is totally out of his depth. The shooting is dull, the performances look self-conscious, the story drags to the point that it's painful! But it could all have been saved, at least somewhat, by an editor with vision. How this cut got the final approval of a producer is just mesmerising. Avoid, especially if you've been using caffeine.

Great Stuff!

Wow, I can't believe there are so many bad reviews of this film. I really loved it, captivating, superb performances, great humour and terrific soundtrack. it is a real hommage to the Bourne series but I love the Bourne series so I'm quite happy to see more in it's ilk. Also I love the fact tht it's thrilling wothout gratuitous violence, higly recommended.

Great Movie

Saoirse Ronan was unbelievable in this film, such acting talent at such a young age. She does look like a young Cate Blanchett who was also in the film.
Strange storyline but riveting viewing and great camera work. You never had any idea how it was going to work out at the end. Some might not like the plot but I did and would recommend it for viewing.
Could Have been so much better!

This film had everything going for it on paper but just didn't come together. Did enjoy it much more than other reviewers though, maybe it was my love of the Chemical Bros. that kept me going throughout! Absolutely amazing soundtrack. Ok it was no Leon, but 1 star, not that bad!
Slightly disappointing

This got great reviews when it came out in the cinema. I was disappointed I missed it. It has good action, but the motivations and actions of the characters seem murky at best. I'm still not sure what the filmmakers were getting at. Also a disappointing finale.
