Happiness? Hardly.
Regina from Dublin, 24 Apr 2007
This film is not so much about happiness as it is about observing the ways people sabotage themselves and are sabotaged.
This film is NOT easy viewing but stick with it- it's worth it. It helps that the cast is uniformly excellent throughout, and Solondz's unerring ear for dialogue makes for some great darkly funny moments.

Solondz takes a few different stories, at least one of which is rather disturbing, and ties them together. This is a tragic, dark comedy that some viewers will find very upsetting; however, the topics are handled well with NO strong scenes of graphic violence or sex. Those 2 themes are suggested to our own imaginations.

I found this movie very distrubing. Clever the way it interlinked the characters, however this is not the first time I have seen this done, this time it was more sinister.
Worth a look

This film is very surprising. Its different and disturbing but comic at the same time! If you're looking for some thing off the beaten track give it a go.

There's plenty of dark themes covered here and some scenes will upset delicate viewers but if you like your drama cutting and hard then this is for you.
