The film portrays a stereotypical Korean and a stereotypical Indian in white east-coast America. But without being preachy it nicely subverts these sterotypes, defies expectations and takes the viewer on a hilarious tour through NJ at night time. No one is spared - neither the protagonist, nor friends, parents, policemen or Princeton students. In fact, the film is so good and funny that they made a sequel which is supposed to be coming out in 2008: "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo".
