1.5 out of 10 Stay Away. Rent Something Else.
Ailis from Dublin, 02 Aug 2011
I am a big fan of Paul Rudd and he doesn't disappoint in this as his character is the only one with redeeming qualities- that's why I am giving it a 3. That is nearly all I can bear to say about this film as Reese Witherspoon's character near drove me demented with her complete lack of funny bone, and the others were just alright. I wonder why this film was made and who had that kind of money to throw away.

3.5 out of 10 Enjoyable movie
Denise from Sligo, 08 Jan 2013
Reese Witherspoon is her usual sparkly-teeth blonde girly, but there's a little more in this rom-com. She enters into a relationship with Owen Wilson, which she needs at the time, but keeps bumping into Paul Rudd and starts to see nicer qualities in him than in her supposed boyfriend. Quite a typical story in some ways, then :-) Very watchable..

0.5 out of 10 Don't do it
Claire from Dublin, 14 Oct 2011
How do I know? I sat through the whole thing. The big names kept me thinking that it was going to redeem itself. It didn't. I can't remember a weaker film.

I thought that this was a good romantic comedy. Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd connect very well together.

What's it about....
From legendary director/writer James L. Brooks comes a humorous and romantic look at the "How Do You Know" question. When everything she's ever known is suddenly taken from her, Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) begins a fling with Matty (Owen Wilson), a major league baseball player and self-centred ladies man. Before their relationship takes off, Lisa meets up with George (Paul Rudd) a straight-arrow businessman facing his own serious issues, both with his father (Jack Nicholson)...
