I had heard the name so often I assumed I had seen it on TV years ago. But I hadn't which made it all the better because I didn't know what was going to happen. Great cast, great plot, great tension; And finally a great shootout. Edward G Robinson steals every scene he's in.

Richard Brooks and John Huston's screenplay for Huston's Key Largo eschews the lofty blank verse of Maxwell Anderson's original play, concentrating instead on the simmering tensions among the many characters.
