Stylish, Sexy, Slaughter-fest

Kill Bill Vol. 1 ia not just a movie but a piece of art. From the stylish design and execution of the acting, camera work and fight scenes to the killer soundtrack which adds that extra dimension to the sometimes fast paced, other times peacefull narrative. The simple plot is recognised early on and doesnt allow itself to get in the way of whats going on, allowing the viewer to take in every stylish blood spattered moment. Love it or Hate it, definitelt worth the watch!

So bad, it's funny. Totally unrealistic fight scenes, deliberately overly violent, that loses it's shock value almost immediately and instead becomes boring.
Some interesting film making ploys though. Japenese, not subtitled is not as you may think stupid but easily understandable through the delivery, camera work and faces of the actors. Music reminded me of the 70's and appeared to be included to trivialise the violence.
Breathtaking!!!

This Ultra Violent masterpiece is by a mile the best revenge film ever made. Can't believe how convincing Uma Thurman is in this and I personally found the superb conclusion which is one woman against 70 or 80 people to be the best fight sequence ever. Wonderful film, and one I'd recommend to everyone!

I expected violence. I expected style. I didn't expect to have the arse bored off me, but that's what happened!
