Predictable
Mary from Limerick, 30 Aug 2011
"Life as We Know It" is predictable. Not breaking news. 3 years ago Josh Duhamel as Messer and Katherine Heigl as Holly have a set up date by their best friends Peter and Alison (Hayes MacArthur and Christina Hendricks) that terminates in Holly's Smart Car. Holly despises Messer way too much. Life happens and tragedy unfolds. Peter and Alison die in a car accident. In their will, unbeknownst to Messer and Holly, the Novaks' name them as legal guardians to their 1 year-old daughter Sophie. Reluctantly, Messer and Holly agree to move into the Novaks' house, and raise Sophie until they can figure this out. Did Alison and Peter know something that Holly and Messer were clueless to? Do they fall in love, and transform into loving parents?

Average Romcom.
Alan from Dublin, 09 May 2011
This is just another average romcom with only a few laughs in it and they're mainly from the baby. It sticks to the tried and trusted formula of girl hates boy, girl falls for boy then boy leaves girl only for them to get back together at the end. Sorry if that spoils it for you but hey, dont they all go like that !!
Great comedy for a night in

Loved this film, some hysterical lines, and a real good story under it all. Not the most edge of your seat film you'll ever see, but I would easily watch it twice, for the laughs alone. You'll laugh one minute and cry the next. Great way to spend a few hours
Take it or leave it

Very average rom-com. usual formula and very predictable. Not necessarily a waste of time (some laughs etc..) but you won't miss out if you don't watch this one.
