Marlay had me sobbing!
Lorna from Dublin, 23 Nov 2010
Wasn't really sure what to expect from this film in terms of the long list of flops that Jennifer Aniston has been in, but have to say it was a good film. It is funny, romantic and sad all rolled into one. Having a two year old labrador myself I said I had to see this, as my dog (Holly) is also a very boisterous canine! The film kept my attention from start to finish and it didn't take long for me to fall in love with the mischievous marley. Would recommend this film for young and old.

A brilliant book brought to life. The movie is not as good as the book but its still very enjoyable.Aniston and Wilson dont really fit but its Marley is the star of the show, from a puppy to a heartbreaking farewell, he is brilliant. And unless you have a heart of stone.Tears ahoy!!!
Boring!

I love the two actors and thought it would be a great film, unfortunately, I fell asleep!!! I found it predictable and boring. I have no idea how it ended but I am sure it was a happy ever after type, but I am not really bothered. I was really disappointed in this film. Sorry.
Above Expectation

I wasn't really expecting great things from this movie and I am not a dog lover but it surpassed expectation very enjoyable didn't have a hollywood ending and was really about the journey of family life career and choices actually a bit thought provoking!

If you really want to know what a real-life marraige and having children is like, this is one for you. Funny in parts but I was hoping for more. As someone who loves rom-coms wouldn't watch this one again.
