Good but depressing and glacially paced

Good movie, but it is depressing.
I felt that the bleak premise wasnt really expanded on as it could have been, given the films 100 minutes running time. Not a lot happens, and even that happens very slowly. The characters never seem to react to the "haunting reality" in the most obvious way but I cant say much more without spoilers.

Engrossing but very disturbing movie. Just a pity they gave the whole story away in the first scenes ... the book is much more ambiguous if I remember correctly.
But all in all the best movie I've watched in a while.
