Entertaining family movie

This film got slated when it was released in the cinemas but its a decent family movie. Ben Stiller is as usual fairly funny and the joke of the museum inhabitants coming to life doesn't wear off too soon. Ricky Gervais obviously got some cash to reprise his Office character. Also watch out for Steve Coogan giving a nice "little" cameo beside Owen Wilson. Dick van Dyke proves he's still alive as does Mickey Rooney. The kids should enjoy it but some parts may be scary for the really young ones.
Great Family Fun

Predicatable but great family entertainment. Nice to see a kids movie thats not a CGI cartoon for a change. Ben Stiller carries it along with his usual comic brilliance helped by good special effects and good support frpm the likes of Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais a naughty monkey and a slightly scary (for little kids) T-Rex.
Another rainy night thsi summer- get some popcorn, comfy couch for the family and sit back and enjoy!

Wheter its the evil Dick van Dyke, The T-Rex that acts like a dog, The Teddy Roosevelt that falls for a Native American trekker, the miniture Cowboys who wage war on the minture roman empire or the cheeky Monkey who steals keys, papers, etc there are many characters and sub-plots and a lot of fun for all members of the family. If you don't enjoy 'Night At The Museum', you might as well give up on family themed films.
Night at the Museum-brilliant fun

My children (3 and 5) loved this film. They watched it several times and are still talking about it. I think that this is one of the better childrens films in recent years. It hits on all the children's favourites (dinosaurs, roman soldiers, cowboys, monkeys etc) and wraps them up in an entertaining story. It is witty enough so that adults don't feel like pulling their hair out whilst watching it too!
Not a boring museum

Ben Stiller has lost his way. He flits from career to career, constantly disappointing his young son. In one final desperate attempt he secures a job as the nightwatchman at the Natural History Museum and discovers that far from the expected graveyard shift, he needs his wits about him to ensure chaos does not ensue.
A very funny and enjoyable movie that all the family will love.
