2.5 out of 10 Grand...
Aimee from Galway, 13 Jan 2011
I've been a huge Beatles/John Lennon fan for years. So much so that there isn't a lot that I could learn from a movie about him so I didn't rush to see this when it came out. The acting is good and the story is fairly true to what I've read in the past. I don't think you have to be a big fan to enjoy the movie, in fact I think it will gain The Beatles a few more fans.

4 out of 10 Good enough
Mark from Dublin, 14 Feb 2011
A pretty good story around the early teenage years of John Lennon and the formation of what was to turn out to be the Beatles takes the story up to Hamburg, a lot of this is dominated by the plot surrounding his Mum and Aunt. A good watch for all especially I would imagine anyone with any interest in music.

4 out of 10 I enjoyed this!
Nuala from Dublin, 01 Oct 2010
If you are interested in John Lennon’s early life, then this is for you. Good performances from all the cast and a very interesting subject, it won’t win an Oscar but it will entertain. I really enjoyed it.

4.5 out of 10 A Great Night's Viewing
Seamus from Monaghan, 09 Jan 2011
This is a great film for fans of the Beatles. Although it's not 100% accurate it gives a great insight into the life of the young John Lennon.
