4.5 out of 10 Great Film
deborah from Dublin, 14 Jun 2012
I got this film in mind of my daughters and me, so we could watch together. I didnt know it was a cartoon, until i tried it on my laptop, i asked my 10 year old would she like to watch it upstairs on her own, but i got so into it myself we watched it together. It was kind of funny and so interesting to watch. Next morning i put it on for my 3 year old and she loved it. Didnt move of the chair. Fors kids and Adults id say. Great film.

5 out of 10 Great Feel Good Film
Eugene from Wexford, 16 Aug 2010
I am very familiar with other Studio Gibhli works and I would count this among the best. Great voice casting, great animation. Great for children and adults alike. If you are looking for an easy going film, with none of the "good guy bad guy" stuff that is so overdone in Hollywood, then, Ponyo is the perfect choice for you.

4 out of 10 Classic Studio Ghibli
Timmy from Cork, 01 Jul 2010
If you liked any of Studio Ghibli's other work you'll like this. Excellent picture quality, excellent sound quality. Excellent mvie. It's not full of action or suspense but it is a feel-good movie. Perfect for children! Also a great voice cast, both Japanese and English! Highly recommended!

My kids thought this was fantastic; especially my youngest who is 8. If you're an adult and you like Ghibli, then you'll like this too.
