Predators (2010)

Disjointed, rambling and devoid of any sense of purpose as a story, this movie is the cinematic equivalent of pick n'mix sweeties: you get your fix but nothing else of benefit. If what you are after is the junkie-rush of predators, predators and more predators then by the end of this movie you will end up in the corner of the room looking like Renton after a visit to the Mother Superior. If, however, you prefer your Predator movies with just a hint of plot, structure and (dare I say it?) raison d'etre, go back and watch Predator 2. Definitely one for the big screen. The only thing going for it is the landscapes.

Strange decision to produce such a film, not quite a remake, nor sequel or prequel. But then hollywood just seems to be churning out all sorts lately. Considering how much i like the first one, i doubted this would make much impact. I was pleasantly surprised. An unusual opening setting, coupled with the traditional hunter v prey scenario made for an above average viewing.

I saw this movie recently and i loved it. I didn't think i would but i was totally surprised. If you like the old style of the first predator movie then this is the movie for you. It leaves out the abysmal alien v predator movies and works from the first 2 predator movies. Rent it and you won't be dissapointed xxx

Looked forward to this movie but to my horror there was no horror. Just a lame slap a story together movie without the action. Not a patch on alien v preditor where at least they spent money on FX. Unless a big big fan of preditor, dont bother.

Really enjoyed this. More of a throwback to the first movie than the terrible AvP garbage we've had to put up with. Bringing it back to the jungle with the hunter verus hunted storyline was a winner all the way.
