What's it about....
When his father dies, ten-year-old Paul is forced to take on the role of the man of the house, looking after his younger brother and his sick mother, Mel. When bullies taunt him by calling his mother a junkie, Paul discovers that the 'medicine' he has been preparing for Mel is actually heroin. When she is sacked from her job, Paul resolves to rescue his mother from addiction...
