This was good -not brillant but was worth it for seeing Sam Worthington for the first time - what a hottie and can act too! This film seems to have won a load of awards in Australia - I guess it has the feel of a French movie more than anything else in that it is a study of human relantionships etc.

loved this film-from oz.. the girl is just great- really believable -lost character- finds herslef in this crappy town-very well acted - she is just beautiful-creepy town- full of people with half lives..

Slow but rewarding

As people have said, this is a slow burner but there's a lot here to admire. Excellent lead performance means it is always watchable and I would say any lovers of good cinema will like this.

While the film is very touching and you understand the young girls teenage anguish of life mishaps and trying to find love. The story is very slow

A completely overated film that has nothing offer its audience. One of the worst films I ever saw.
