4.5 out of 10 Hit the mark

This was a thoroughly enjoyable movie that really surprised us! Great character development, the story line was easy to follow but had a few twists to keep us interested. Both actresses excelled in their rolls, particularly Amy Adams. She comes across as very genuine & gentle soul but is streaked with flashes of comedy genius! 5 out of 10 Great Film.
Seamus from Monaghan, 02 Apr 2011
Some terrific acting and a great story. It moves along at a nice pace and we get to know each of the characters well so we do care what happens to them. You should watch one of the 'bonus' features which is an interview with two women who do the work featured in Sunshine Cleaning. Very interesting.

3.5 out of 10 .. some folks really do have strange jobs !!

Think 'Little Miss Sunshine' with a much more muted feel good factor. But it was worth a watch. Loved the 'baby shower' scene for the cringe crunch. A great reflection of sisterly relations.

Thought this movie was rather boring. A poor man's sunshine state with another grandad role for an under used and seen it before Alan Arkin role.
