This was a thoroughly enjoyable movie that really surprised us!
Great character development, the story line was easy to follow but had a few twists to keep us interested. Both actresses excelled in their rolls, particularly Amy Adams. She comes across as very genuine & gentle soul but is streaked with flashes of comedy genius! The grandfather/grandson relationship had us in stitches at parts, some well thought out & fantastic dialogue! There are a few sad parts but they only serve to add to the
Great Film.

Some terrific acting and a great story. It moves along at a nice pace and we get to know each of the characters well so we do care what happens to them.
You should watch one of the 'bonus' features which is an interview with two women who do the work featured in Sunshine Cleaning. Very interesting.
Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this..was not sure what to expect...but it was a sort of a play on screen thing.....good characters....good storyline.....a good chewy movie......strong performances..you could really get the emotion through it all...

Think 'Little Miss Sunshine' with a much more muted feel good factor. But it was worth a watch. Loved the 'baby shower' scene for the cringe crunch. A great reflection of sisterly relations.
Think twice before taking

Thought this movie was rather boring. A poor man's sunshine state with another grandad role for an under used and seen it before Alan Arkin role.
