Good movie - As long as you're not tired!

One of Wim Wenders earlier works, this adaptation of a Patricia Highsmith novel (another being Ripley's Game), is a dark and slow moving tale of desperation and friendship. A man is told he has a terminal illness and is coerced into becoming an assassin.
After watching this film, I almost felt like I would have to google it to find out what it was about. Watching it a second time may yield more enjoyment. Great acting and great cinematography ultimately make up for the mildly bewildering plotl
