Odd one

Scorcese goes all out to portray the life and times of the famous recluse, Howard Hughes. The movie covers most of his life and DiCaprio is very good but the problem is the movie is just too long. It really does feel like it is dragging late on but the early parts are good.

Fascinating subject, brought to colourful life by Scorsese. Very entertaining, and good to see DeCaprio back on track. Extremely rare mis-fire from Blanchett as Hepburn, though. She di not convince me.
Best bit? Testing that new twin-prop over Hollywood.

As a film-maker, Howard Hughes was prone to producing epics so grand in scale that they were virtually unworkable. Sadly, Scorsese has made a similar error with this biopic. Yawnsome.

Good performances from Blanchett and Di Caprio keep you enthralled for the most part of this long movie.
