1.5 out of 10 So-so
Monika from Cork, 06 Sep 2012
Ok, I wouldn't say that it's a waste of time to watch it but frankly, it's nothing new. One nice twist doesn't make a good movie and a mediocre script stays a mediocre script no matter how good the actors. The bad guy is pretty obvious from the start as is the story and the likely ending after ca. 50% of the movie. So the bottom line is: up to 1/2 way through, it's an engaging film but after that, it becomes a quickly deflating balloon.

4 out of 10 Elegant Ghost Story
Barbara from Cork, 12 Jun 2012
This not a jump-out-of-your-seat ghost story, though there are some jolting moments. The story is really about the effects of the trauma of the First World War. Shot in a dour but beautiful style, the cast is terrific and it's quite haunting in an old-fashoined ghost story way. Refreshing to see a film that's well written for a change. Liked it a lot.

Very well made and beautifully filmed ghost story. Narrative might seem to be a bit on the corny side but the cast are excellent. Would recommend.

3 out of 10 Confused about the ending
Linda from Wexford, 22 Jul 2012
Good movie, bit like `The Others` so disappointed with the ending though, or maybe I missed something crucial.

What's it about....

But just when she thinks she has debunked the ghost theory, she has a chilling encounter which...
