Follows a group of British retirees who decide to
Mary from Limerick, 03 Mar 2013
"outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past
Not up to the hype!

Can't really go wrong with a top of the range cast that includes Judi Dench among others. Nevertheless I was a bit disapointed overall having listened to the hype surrounding this film. Storyline is corny in the extreme with a few silly Hollywood type outcomes.
Having said that, some great performances and worth a look.
Nice romantic movie. Well acted.

Great romantic movie set in India with a disparate group of retirees. The acting is excellent. The scene is spectacular and the story is good. What more would you want? A glass of wine perhaps?
Brilliant

Take the top British Actors and give them a brilliant script. It is brilliant. The whole film holds you. Each character is so well drawn and so well acted. This is a real 'must see'.
Good movie with a good heart

Really enyoyed this but may be an age thing and love of India. Not meant to be condescendingbut young ones may not be that interested.
