2 out of 10 'The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian'
Leslie from Kilkenny, 05 Feb 2009
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was just about passable but this doesn't cut it at all. Visually rich in places (and not just to do with CGI) but that doesn't compensate for the inadequate conversion of the book into a credible script for a modern audience. The quality of acting ranges from the wooden to the arch.

4 out of 10 Excellent

I really enjoyed this film, having read the book but think that if I hadn't read the book it would have been difficult to keep up with the story. My husband agreed as he hadn't read the book and was lost for much of the film even after watching the previous film. Definitely worth watching

Excellent adaptation of the novel. If you are a fan of The Chronicles and loved the first movie, no doubt you will love this one too! The effects, the characters, it will all draw you in as it did in the first movie. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Good film. Not as good as the first however. well worth a watch. The acting in parts leaves something to be desired but its a good story.

I enjoyed this even more than the first film. Good story, excellent special effects, a must see for all the family.

Lewis's beloved CHRONICLES OF NARNIA series, PRINCE CASPIAN finds the four Pevensie children--Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Lucy (Georgie Henley)--once again whisked away from WWII-era England into the realm of Narnia, where the siblings once ruled as royalty. However, the Pevensies soon discover that 1,300 years have passed since they left, and the world is now controlled by the Telmarines,...
