4 out of 10 Excellant
Darragh from Meath, 19 Dec 2012
This was an excellant film......very gripping and compelling, great performances all round. Definitely recommend this film. I took the advise of some of the previous reviewers and read a detailed synopsis of the film, however, personally I didn't find it too difficult to keep up with the storyline, you did have to be awake and concentrate mind! Some of the plots could have been developed more but overall it was very good, just wished the film was longer!

4 out of 10 Tense political drama
Gerald from Dublin, 16 Mar 2012
The story takes a while to get going but once it does it is a roller coaster ride to the end. It took me some time to follow what was going on (note; read a good plot summary beforehand) but once I did I really enjoyed it. There are several great performances and the story really holds your attention.

5 out of 10 Politicians are human too, and that is the problem
Attila from Tipperary, 08 Aug 2012
Superb acting and directing, a very entertaining and tense film based on a stage play - well-worth watching it. The plot is intense and provocative with some good twists. SPOILER ALERT! As it turns out, a real politician needs to be a loyal idealist and a ruthless criminal in the same time.

4.5 out of 10 A good night in
Seamus from Monaghan, 15 Jul 2012
There is a lot to enjoy in this film. George Clooney is terrific as a director who is happy to give all the other actors the limelight and to just be the 'face' selling the movie. All the acting is great and all the characters are well rounded and well played. I really enjoyed it.

Monica from Dublin, 25 Dec 2011
Be prepared to get a bit lost with all the US politics. other than that, great actors and performances, from the main to the supporting cast. very compelling and engaging to watch.you'll be left thinking about it afterwards
