Not mainstream but deserves a chance

I enjoyed this movie. The fact that some viewers were frustrated by the lead character and didn't know how to take him, shows the very frustration also felt by those who came into contact with him as they too were frustrated with his ever changing information etc...and how his mind worked was quite interesting!
I also found the internal dialogue quite witty and funny as it ran in parralell to the story line.

Annoying character but decent film

When I finished waiting this I realised that it was quite good but there were times when I wondered why I was bothering. The lead characters is very frustrating but very well-played by Matt Damon. You were never too sure what way he was going to turn next, especially as the story is told through him. That said the story is engrossing and another reminder of how fast and loose some companies can play.
Disappointing!

I'm not sure how many liberties were taken with the facts but it is a facinating story that just doesn't make a very good movie. Matt Damon is unconvincing as the lead and it's unclear if we are supposed to admire or be disgusted by his behaviour, we remained unmoved either way and couldn't care less really...pity because it had the potential to be a better film.
Weird Weird Weird!!

I read some reviews and thought this film was going to be quite good and in parts it was, but sometimes it just got lost in translation i think! With all the double crossing and not knowing what was going on, my husband fell asleep half way through it so that tells you what he thought but I thought it was watchable...just
BRUTAL with a capital B

If this movie had an option for 0/10, I would have used it. Really, one of the worst films I have ever seen..............You will never get this time back. Truly terrible. The film idea itself is good but the outcome is a long drawn out film about nothing
