because this one stinks pretty bad. Probably one of the worst made big budget films I have seen in recent memory. It suffers badly from the extensive re-shooting that occured, and they didnt even bother trying to make up some of the footage with what they had previously shot. The acting is uniformly awful, with the leads giving well below their par. Plus, the ending is the biggest cop out of them all. Door yourself a favour and watch the Donald Sutherland version for some real chills.
Hollywood is out of new ideas

The original body snatchers was released in 1993, just like my car. Whilst engineers make better automobiles in factories, what scenarist do in Hollywood? The original movie was good enough, now that is the better one. The producer should do good and give me the money – to buy a new car – instead of waste on Mr.Lockjaw(Daniel Craig). He is a terrible actor unlike Jackson Bond, who’s got a bright future. Watch it, if you haven’t seen (or read) the old(and better) one, yet.

what a movie. this is like a really good update to the body snatcher. is you like the bad snatchers u will love this movie. It will have u on the edge of your seat from what is going to happen. it has the mother daughter and love and romance throw out along with the felling of what is going to happen next. Well worth a look.

I loved the old 'Body snatchers' films, so I was a bit too critical on this when I first watched it. i felt it fell between two stools - not quite 'bodysnatchers', not quite 'I am Legend', but on second watching, it is a really good action movie with very good actors doing what they do best! Good for a night in!
Quite enjoyed it.

Yep, it's not going to change the world, it's nothing new, but a good solid film that I quite enjoyed. It's nice to have a sci-fi movie that doesn't rely on a big scary alien or massive special effects. That and the fact that Nicole Kidman has rarely looked better....
