4 out of 10 Very enjoyable
Ciaran from Dublin, 11 May 2007
I found this a very enjoyable affair. Pierce completely plays out of his normal character and livens up the movie because of it. restored some respect as an actor in my eyes and delivers some good funny lines. Kinnear is, as stated, solid and reliable and plays off Brosnan well. Simple enough plot and good script make this very worthwhile.

2.5 out of 10 Hmmm its okay
Mark from Dublin, 12 Apr 2007
Was the words of critic number 2 bearing in mind Pierce has an uncanny knack of wrecking my other halfs head when she watches anything with his participation, then thats some praise indeed. I thought it was okay entertainment on a rainy sunday afternoon, Greg Kinnear is quality as always.

2.5 out of 10 Pierce Brosnan as loser? No!
Robert from Wexford, 26 Mar 2007
A bit unnerving to have Pierce Brosnan play such a sad, lonely character drinking and smoking too much. Good movie but almost wish I hadn't seen it. Might have to find some Remington Steele to restore my image of him.

I agree with the good reviews of this film. I enjoyed it and though it was great to see Brosnan cast against type.

What's it about....
A drunk, lonely and shambolic hit man, Julian Noble (Brosnan) is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. In search of some real human connection and friendship, a chance encounter with straight-laced, mild-mannered travelling salesman Danny Wright (Greg Kinnear) in Mexico City triggers a strange bond between the two. As fate brings them together and bound by an awkward friendship, their very existence begins to take on a whole new meaning as their lives are altered forever.......
