2.5 out of 10 Nothing new here!!
Nicola from Leitrim, 21 Oct 2011
Just got this out as i couldnt think of anything else to fill my rental queue! It was such an obvious film, you knew exactly how the story would end! I was not a fan of Ryan Reynolds and this didnt change my view! Sandra Bullock was her usual rom-com self!! Only get it if you have nothing else to watch!!

4 out of 10 The Propsal.
Ben from Mayo, 25 Sep 2010
This rom-com is about a editor (Sandra Bullock) who gets deported she tries too get out of it by saying she was engaged to P.A. All in all at least it's different too most rom-coms and I really enjoyed it!

1.5 out of 10 Enjoyable, good script
Niall from Dublin, 09 Jan 2010
Very enjoyable, laugh out loud funny. Predicable yes but it has a good script, although some scenes are ridiculous and you have to suspend your disbelief. Recommended.

3.5 out of 10 funny
Hilary from Meath, 21 Dec 2009
Some very funny bits and a puppy that is absolutely gorgeous. Sandra Bullock fans will not be dissapointed. Similar to the congeniality films comedy-wise. I loved it.

What's it about....
When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, who she's tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. The unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family, and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. With an...
